As I write this review, I am attempting to shake the last drops from my bottle of Up in Vapor’s Browned Blueberry e-liquid to keep my cartomizer from going completely dry. It’s a small bottle, but for the first time ever I’ve managed to use an entire bottle of e-liquid before writing about it. Browned Blueberry is that good.

Up in Vapor describes Browned Blueberry e-liquid as containing “the sweetness of blueberries” and “the perfect touch of brown sugar.” At first glance, I must admit that the description didn’t sound particularly exciting to me. When I tasted the e-liquid, though, I quickly became a convert. I’ve only reviewed one blueberry e-liquid before. It was a Vapure product sold by a local retailer, and I thought it was pretty mediocre. Up in Vapor’s version is far better — it tastes strikingly realistic without any overbearing sweetness.

What’s interesting to me is that I actually can’t taste the brown sugar component of Browned Blueberry at all. The component that Up in Vapor identifies as “brown sugar” actually tastes more like a tobacco flavor to me — perhaps it’s the nutty flavor of the brown sugar combined with the nicotine potency of this 18 mg e-liquid. Either way, the overall flavor profile, for me, is definitely more “blueberry tobacco” than “blueberry cobbler.”

I wouldn’t have it any other way, though; the end product is an e-liquid that combines a realistic fruit flavor with a savory, peppery tobacco backbone for an experience that works equally well as a dessert e-liquid and as an all-day vape. Up in Vapor Browned Blueberry is an e-liquid for people who don’t think they fruity e-liquids.
